Maximum discretion.
Proposals are incredibly intimate. The last thing you want is a photographer who's in your grill ruining a moment you spent hours agonising over.
Before the proposal, neither you or your partner will see me. After the proposal, I'll pop out and discretely capture all the special moments.

Easy planning.
Planning a proposal for your partner is actually pretty hard, especially when it's a surprise.
I'll help you plan it. I'll be a sounding board for your ideas, help you scout a location that's quiet and pick a time when the light is good - together we'll make it the easiest 'yes' she's ever said.
Post before Mum.
A family member posting about your engagement before you do is probably the most frustrating thing that can happen.
As standard, you will receive your proposal photos on the same day you propose so you and your partner can share first.
Plans change, it's okay.
Proposals are inherently unpredictable. It can rain, the area where you want to propose can be busy, one of you might feel sick.
A big part of specialising in proposals is I know how to be adaptable. If we need to subtly move to another spot that's okay, if we need to shoot in the rain that's okay (it can look amazing), if we need to reschedule for another day it's okay.
It's your day. With me you don't have to worry about the photographer.
Flexible availability.
Most guys plan their proposal 1 - 4 weeks in advance.
Because of this, I have flexible booking times available. It doesn't matter if you're 3 days away or 3 months - I'll do everything possible to fit you in.

I have over 12 years professional photography experience. I originally started out in events photography and have since shot editorials, weddings and travel among many other things.
My diverse background means I have developed a unique way of shooting you won't find anywhere else and fast forward to today, my exclusive focus is proposal photography.

Frequently asked questions
Will my partner know I hired a photographer?
They won't know I'm there until after you have proposed (unless you would prefer otherwise). Depending on the location, I'll be dressed in a conspicuous way that doesn't stand out.
If we're in the bush with no one around, I'll be on the ground or behind a tree, or if we're at the beach I'll be lying on a towel in my sunnies with the camera packed carefully away.
Do you have public liability insurance?
Yes! Some parks and spaces in Sydney require public liability insurance in order for a professional photography to take photos.
I have this, and I also handle all the permit approvals so you don't have to worry about a thing.
What if I don't have a location or plan yet?
Thats totally okay, a lot of people don't. I'm always happy to soundboard in our initial consultation call.
If you have a date in mind but are still figuring out the rest I am also happy to take a deposit to save it for you.
Some parks and public spaces require permits for photography. If the location you choose requires this, I will handle the entire application and approval process for you.
When will I get the photos back?
The same day. It's important to me that you can announce your engagement whenever you want and you aren't waiting on me.
Same day delivery as standard means you can post your photos on socials or send to friends and family the same day as your engagement.
Do you just shoot proposals?
No, I also offer couple's engagement sessions on request.
This is for couples who didn't get a photographer for the proposal and would like to either recreate the moment or book a session to celebrate.
What's your cancellation or bad-weather policy?
Sometimes the weather gets really bad or someone gets sick and you need to reschedule and that's okay.
I am always flexible to work in bad weather conditions (it's part of the job) and in a few ways I think it can make the engagement more special - rain and wind can add extra drama to the photos that other couples won't have.
If you need to reschedule for weather/health reasons all I ask that you please let me know as soon as possible as late notice means I have to turn away other couples and lose income.
What if I am not happy with my session?
If under any circumstance you are unhappy with the photos you have received, you are eligible for a 100% refund on your booking.
